UPGRADING
Important!
Upgrading can only happen via NETLINX
- Once the Modero X is booted and connected to the MXA-MPL, select the appropriate method for master connection.
- Ensure that the MXA-MPL is visible to the Modero X panel (STATUS Led on MXA-MPL should toggle on/off every 5 seconds).
- Ensure the reboot device button is checked in NETLINX Studio.
- Begin the upgrade by downloading the “SW5968_10_MXA_MPL_V2_1_112.kit"
- After the transfer, the panel and the MXA-MPL will reboot and perform the firmware upgrade. After the upgrade, the MXA-MPL unit contains the 2.2.112 release.
NOTE:
The MXA-MPL won't be ready for use and won't show up on the online tree in Studio until *AFTER* it's STATUS LED starts blinking again.
Notes
- A/V sync may be lost if a stream is maintained beyond 3 hours. The ModeroX will automatically restart the stream at 3 hour mark unless it's prohibited from doing so.
- Video input format reports as PAL-BGHID on the ModeroX if no source is connected and the configuration is set for COMPOSITE,NTSC. It corrects itself after the COMPOSITE cable is connected.
- Due to the wide variety of video graphics cards on the market it is possible that some video chipsets may not work properly when connected directly to the MP(L), especially when using the VGA, SVGA, XGA, and WXGA formats. The chipsets that have been tested (though others may also work are:
- Intel® HD Graphics 3000
- AMD Radeon HD 6750M
- NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G
