Question:
Why is the DVX-4k having problems with 1920 x 1200 resolution?
Answer:
The issue is the 1920 x 1200 that the DVX pushes is a "non-reduced blanking" version of the timing which has a high pixel clock, around 193MHz, but the one the older DXLink products put out is the reduced blanking which is 154MHz.
The problem comes when the downstream sink is only 2k and has a max pixel clock support of 165MHz. If you are seeing either a no signal message when using 1920 x 1200 or an out of range message on your display check to make sure your display supports a pixel clock of 193MHz.
