Will the EON One Pro work without the battery?

Answer:

Yes, but you will need to disconnect the battery at the bottom of the unit. This constitutes a modification to the unit, and may be attempted at your own risk. Once the battery compartment is open, you will see two cables.

Disconnect the cable with red and black connectors and leave the white sense connector alone. We advise covering the open connectors with electrical tape or similar non-conductive material to prevent shorts in the unit.

If the unit still will not operate, this indicates a larger hardware issue and will require Service.
