The JBL PRX ONE is an all-in-one powered column PA featuring an acoustically optimized column array with a 7-channel digital mixer, a full suite of professional DSP, Bluetooth functionality, and the JBL Pro Connect universal app for control.
Today, we’re going to show you how to update the firmware on the JBL PRX One. The firmware update can be done through the JBL Pro Connect app. Start by pairing your speaker to the app. Once paired, click the “MORE” icon in the lower right corner. Select “firmware update.” If there is an update available like shown here, click the download icon to begin downloading the firmware update. Once complete, click this icon to begin updating firmware on your speaker. This process will take around 15 minutes.
After the firmware is 100% updated, the speaker will reboot on its own. This may take around 3 to 4 minutes. The unit will power on once the firmware is updated.
