Brand:

  • AKG

Models:

  • Wireless

Overview:

AKG FreqFinder is designed to help you identify available and compatible frequencies for your AKG wireless microphone systems, minimizing interference and ensuring optimal performance.

Prerequisites:

  • Know your location (country, postal code) where you'll be operating.
  • Have a list of your AKG wireless microphone and pocket transmitter models you intend to use.
    Example:
    • WMS45 = HT45 & PT45.
    • WMS40mini = HT40 & PT40.
    • DMS700 = DHT700 & DPT700.
  • Understand the local regulations regarding wireless spectrum usage in your area (though AKG FreqFinder should help guide this).

Procedure:

Step 1: Access the Website

Open your web browser and navigate to the following URL: https://freqfinder.akg.com/

Step 2: Select your equipment & location

Choose your device model from the drop down menu,  such as DHT700 & DPT700, DHT800 & DPT800, HT4000, etc.

Enter your country and postal code:

You also have the option to let the browser automatically find your location, by clicking “Find My Location".

Step 3: Initiate the Frequency Search

Note: Verify your location is correct.  which ensures frequencies conform to local regulatory limits and band variants.  This configures limits like permitted frequency bands and country‑specific channel variants.

Step 4: Review the Results

Browse the Working Presets and select one for each transmitter in your setup.  Frequencies highlighted in red are restricted and cannot be used.  Ensure you only operate within the available open frequencies.

Step 5: Apply Frequencies to Your Devices

  • Refer to your AKG wireless system's user manual for instructions on how to change its operating frequency or channel.
  • Manually set each of your AKG wireless devices to the specific frequencies recommended.
  • Perform a walk-test with your systems to ensure there is no unexpected interference in your actual operating environment.
