Why does my CE-Series fail to connect to a Muse controller when Manager can see both devices?

Answer:

There are 3x H Control connections available to the CE-Series units.
If Manager is open while the CE-box is booting, it will open all 3 connections, preventing the Muse controller from connecting to the CE-Series box. Closing Manager will close these connections, allowing the Muse controller to connect once the CE-Series box has booted, at which point Manager can be reopened.
