Pan and Tilt Sensor Adjustment Guide

If you have replaced a Pan or Tilt belt, motor, or sensor, you will need to adjust the absolute encoder sensors for Pan and Tilt.
After powering up the fixture for the first time, the display may show the error message:
“PTCM" – P/T SENSOR ADJUST

This adjustment takes only a couple of minutes.

Preparation

  • Ensure the fixture is securely positioned with the display facing you. Then apply power.

Adjustment Steps

  1. Enter the menu and navigate to: SERVICE → ADJUST → PAN/TILT AT END STOP
  2. Select STEP 1 and press ENTER.
  3. Rotate the yoke clockwise (as viewed from the top of the head toward the base) until it reaches the mechanical end stop at the limit of clockwise pan.
  4. Tilt the lens away from the display side of the base.
  5. Hold the position, but be ready to release it, as the head will move in the next step.
  6. Press ENTER again and allow the head a few seconds to move and perform a basic self-adjustment.
  7. Once the head has finished moving, press MENU to exit STEP 1.
  8. Select STEP 2 and press ENTER.
  9. Repeat steps 3 through 6. Allow approximately two minutes for the head to complete a more precise self-adjustment.
  10. When the head has finished moving, press MENU to exit the menus.

Pan and Tilt are now correctly adjusted.
