MAC Encore Series “PAN ERROR” After Rigging

Question:

I sometimes on my MAC Encore get a “PAN ERROR" after Rigging it.

Answer:

This can happen If the fixture when powered off is rotated all the way counterclockwise until it hits the endstop.
When Powered ON it will in some cases during the reset procedure not sense the PAN position and will display “PAN ERROR".

Fix:

Send a reset command or power cycle.

NOTE:

The fixture cannot by it self move to this position so the “PAN ERROR" will after a reset or power cycle not show up due to this again.
