This video provides step-by-step instructions for updating the firmware with the PRX900 series powered portable loudspeakers.

The JBL PRX900 Series speakers take portable PA performance to a new level with advanced acoustics, professional DSP, unrivaled power performance, and complete control with the JBL Pro Connect app.
Today, we’re going to show you how to update the firmware. The firmware update can be done through the JBL Pro Connect App. Start by pairing your speaker to the app. Once paired, click the “MORE” icon in the lower right corner. Select “firmware update”. If there is an update available like shown here, click the download icon to begin downloading the firmware update. Once complete, click this icon to begin updating firmware on your speaker. This process will take around 15 minutes.
After the firmware is 100% updated, the speaker will reboot on its own. This may take around 3 to 4 minutes. The unit will power on once the firmware is updated.
