In order to create a direct Ethernet connection to your Ui mixer perform the following:

  1. Connect to your Ui mixer via HotSpot.
  2. Go to the Settings Menu
  3. Select the Network Tab
  4. Select the CONFIG button
  5. You’ll be prompted to enter in a username and password; default for both is “admin”
  6. Once you’re logged in select the LAN Configuration Tab
  7. Make sure you enable the Ethernet port
  8. Under the Address section select Manual mode
  9. Enter in the following information for all the required fields
    IP Address: 10.10.2.1
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Router: 10.10.2.1
  10. Be sure to Save/Update all these settings
  11. Power cycle your unit.

Steps 12 - 17 are PC specific, MAC settings are steps 18 - 21 below:

PC Setup

  1. Go to Internet Settings on computer: Start, Control Panel, Network & Sharing Center.
  2. Select Change adapter settings.
  3. Decide which local area connection you would like to use (in this case, Ethernet). Right click and select Properties.
  4. Choose connection (usually Internet Protocol Version 4).
    Click Properties
  5. Make sure the IP Address is 10.10.2.5 (This ensures that multiple devices can connect).
  6. Open web browser and type 10.10.2.1 into address bar, should bring you to the “choose your device” screen, click on the bigger tablet icon, and you should be up and running.

MAC Setup:

  1. Go to System Preferences.
  2. Select the Network icon.
  3. Select the Ethernet connection and switch drop down to “Manually”.
  4. Enter in the following information:
    Configure IPv4: Manually
    IP Address: 10.10.2.5
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Router: 10.10.2.1
