Varia USB Logging

Question:
How do I enable logging on the Varia panels?
Answer:
- You will need a Micro USB Male to USB Female adapter cable. An adapter cable does not ship with the panel, and AMX does not sell one.
- Enable logging to a file under Advance Settings -> Diagnostics. This needs to be done ahead of time before you want to capture an event in the log file.Varia.
- Enable the USB port on the back of the Varia panel under Advanced Settings -> Security -> USB Storage Settings. This can also be enabled ahead of time.
- After the issue you are trying to capture has occurred, you can now export the log to USB. Go back in to
Advanced Settings -> Diagnostics, and select Export to USB. After the log has been exported, you can remove the USB stick and send the file(s) to Technical Support.
