What to do if your Vi 2/4/6 console is not detecting the 4.9.2. software update package?

Answer:

There are two options:

  1. Use the V5.0.0.38_Vix000_Vix00__Vi1-6_Update_Updater.zip with the V4.9.2.306b_Update_Console.7z package
  2. Use the V3.3.1.30_Update_Updater.zip with the V4.9.2.306a_Update_Console.7z package, this software update package can be requested at: hprotechsupportemea@harman.com​

.zip and .7z files can be opened with WinZIP or 7zip software utility:
