Question:
A newer version of firmware is available on help.harmanpro.com for CE boxes than is showing in Manager, why is this not in Manager and how do I load the firmware?
Answer:
The firmware version shown in Manager is the latest official release build. Builds released on help.harmanpro.com are considered early access / hotfix builds.
To install an early access build:
- Download CE Series firmware and extract the zip folder.
- On the CE Series device, access the web UI, navigate to the Firmware tab.
- Select ‘Browse’, locate the previously extracted .FWP file from your PC, and click Update.
Caution
Do not remove the power source from the device during the firmware file install process, as it may render the device inoperable.
