Are dbx Pro products universal voltage with an automatic voltage sensor for 100-240v voltage ratings?
Answer:
No, dbx products use a proper transformer rated for the region that it is being sold in. A product bought in the US and/or Japan (100-120v rating) will not be able to be plugged into a power source in the EU for example (230-240 voltage).
The product SKU will have an EU, or NP designating that it is region and hence, voltage specific.
The rear of dbx units near the power port will say 100-240V 50/60 Hz which is not to be confused for universal power hookup and/or voltage auto sensing.
Note – You risk damage to the device if you connect a dbx product to the incorrect voltage. Check your product SKU before connecting to a power source..
You can use a step up/down transformer for safe operation according to voltage rating needs.
