On the Back of the ZonePRO: In the Software: Hint:

On the Back of the ZonePRO:

  1. Connect the mic to a balanced Euroblock input on the back of the ZonePRO. It should be one of the inputs labeled "ML" (far right hand side).
  2. Push in the mic/line toggle button next to the input to specify that you want it set to mic level.
  3. Adjust the mic gain screw knob to a level where the accompanying LED consistently lights up green when talking into the mic, and not lighting red.

In the Software:

The final adjustment of the mic input gain must be completed in the software. It is the ZonePRO GUI Designer software that can be obtained free from the dbx website:

4.  Once connected with the ZonePro and in the program screen, it will be the very first column labeled "IN". Double-click on the box corresponding to the mic input. Then, adjust the gain slider.

Hint:

The input meters on the program screen of the software can be used as an additional tool to help set the mic's level. These are located on the bottom right of the program screen.
