What is common in C1000S, C5 microphones and C5 WMS heads?

Answer:

The AKG C5 variants, including the Wireless Handheld Transmitter heads and the AKG C1000S models up from MKII has the same capsule, therefor the accessories used are the same. There are two plastic converter caps may be attached onto the capsule that can change the audio nature of the microphone.

Adapter caps for the Capsules:

PPC1000 Polar Pattern Converter, (part number is 2334Z00020, PPC1000 ADAPTER)

This adapter changes the original Cardioid pattern to Hypercardioid.

PB1000 Presence Boost Converter (part number is 2334Z05010, BOOST ADAPTOR)

This adapter as the name describes has an effect on presence, it boosts 5dB between 5kHz and 9kHz.
