Introduction

ITHD v1.1.5.230 fixes a bug in v1.1.5.226 that caused a small number of units produced without a programmed Manufacturing Date to enter a boot loop or not boot completely.

​ITHD v1.1.5.226 was released publicly with Performance Manager v3.1.0 in early February 2025.
As of 3/11/2025 Performance Manager v3.1.1 has now been released, and includes this firmware update. 

To update the firmware manually (not necessary if using PM 3.11 or higher)

1. Download the ITHD-115230.bnd file from this link: DOWNLOAD
2. Be sure Performance Manager or Audio Architect is closed, whichever you are using for the firmware update.
3. Copy the ITHD-115230.bnd file to your Firmware Updates folder in Performance Manager or Audio Architect.
   The filepath will be "C:\Program Files\Harman Pro\<app name> <version>\Firmware Updates".
   For example:​​
   
   • Performance Manager 3.1.0 filepath: "C:\Program Files\Harman Pro\Performance Manager 3.1.0\Firmware Updates"
   • Audio Architect 2.55 filepath: “C:\Program Files\Harman Pro\Audio Architect 2.55\Firmware Updates”
4. If the amplifier is in a boot loop, continually rebooting, you'll need to put it in bootloader mode.
   • Ensure that amplifier is powered off.
   • Hold down the small pin-hole button on the rear panel while powering on the amplifier.
   • The pin-hole is between the Date and Preset LEDs.
   • ​Hold the button down until the Preset LED lights solid orange. This takes about 7 seconds.
5. Disable the Windows Defender Firewall. The current versions of WDF will block the firmware TFTP transfer.
   • Windows Defender Firewall is found in the Windows Control Panel​ app.
6. Restart your preferred Hi Qnet app, Performance Manager or Audio Architect. 
   When you connect to the amp, follow the prompts to update the firmware​.
7. After the firmware updates complete, you may reenable Windows Defender Firewall.
