Running P3 network in surge-sensitive environment
When running a P3 network in a surge-sensitive environment such as the outside of a building, it is advisable to install an additional surge-protection device on the connection between the P3 System Controller and the outdoor fixtures. This will prevent damage to the P3 System Controller in case of an extreme surge on the cables.
