Answer:

Unlike some other AMX devices the CTC does not have a 'set device' Telnet command and you are not able to change the device number from the web UI, only view the current device number.

To change the device number:

Use Device Addressing in Netlinx Studio which can be found in the Diagnostics drop-down menu.
In Device Addressing enter the current device number of the CTC in the Device to Change/Device field.
Enter the desired device number in the New Device field.
Check the box labeled Change Device and then press the button to Change Device/System Number.
