How do I change the EDID settings on an SVSi encoder, to present specific audio channels to the connected source?
Answer:
- Open the webpage of the encoder and select the EDID page
- Disconnect the source device from the encoder
- In the EDID (Digital) section, click the drop down and select the appropriate audio channel count EDID to use
- Click Set EDID
- Reconnect source
