How to manually edit an encoder EDID

Overview:
This example would make a 4K encoder to only receive 1080p from source.
Instructions:
- Go to Video/Audio -> EDID
- Decode the current EDID
- Expand Detailed Timing Descriptions
- Match settings to screenshot "1080p_CustomEDID N2612S" (setting a N2612S enc EDID to 1080p manually)
- Expand CEA Video
- Use the dropdown to select the desired resolution
Or remove the resolutions from the list then select from dropdown - Check Native
- Click Add
- Click Encode
- Set EDID
Connect Encoder to source, should default to Native resolution
