Requirements:

• USB-A to Mini USB cable.  
• Windows PC (does not run on Mac OS).  
• PmcManufacturingUpdater.exe (Software Utility).  
• PMC Image (file).  
   

Procedure:

1. ​ Download the PMC16_Manufacturing_Update_1_0_9.zip.  Extract all files into the same directory.  
2.  Remove power from the PMC16.  
3.  Hold the "PRESET" & "WIZARD" buttons then apply power.  Keep holding during countdown until erased.  
4.  Unit should display "No Firmware – USB Ready" during power up now and should automatically be in USB mode since no firmware is found.  
5.  Connect PMC16 to PC USB.  (You may need to manually install the driver, the file is in the .zip contents you extracted labeled “PMC.inf".  
6.  Run “PmcManufacturingUpdater.exe".  
7.  Connect to “USB Serial Device (Com#)" by clicking arrow by "Serial Port" box & click "Connect".  
8.  Navigate to firmware file "PMCimage" by clicking "Browse" button.  
9.  Click "Update" to load firmware.  It will start sending the blocks to the PMC – when the utility is done doing this it will say Firmware Update Complete – click ok.  
10.  Device will say “Image Loading – Please Wait".  
11.  Unit will reboot and load to the default preset.​
